Super Resolution Privacy Policy

Effective 25 October 2026

This privacy policy explains how Super Resolution (the "App"), the AI photo upscaler and enhancer, handles your information. It covers the Android app (package com.neuralful.unlimited.images.upscaler.easy_images). The App is published by Neuralful AI Ltd, 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@neuralfulai.com.

1. Summary

  • Your photos are processed on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
  • The App has no account or sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • The App uses Google AdMob to show ads, and RevenueCat with Google Play to handle the Pro subscription.
  • The AI model files are downloaded from GitHub the first time you use a tool.

2. Information the App handles

Photos you choose to process. The App only accesses photos you pick with the system photo picker, or photos you share to the App from another app. It does not scan your photo library. Upscaling, face enhancement, noise reduction and the other tools run entirely on your device using AI models stored on the device. Your photos and results are never sent to our servers or to any third party.

Face detection. The face enhancement tool uses Google ML Kit face detection, provided by Google Play services, to find faces in the photo you selected. Detection runs on your device. Face data is used only in memory to enhance that photo and is discarded straight away. We do not create face templates, identify people or collect biometric data.

Results and your library. Results you save are stored in the "Super Resolution" album of your device's gallery. The App also keeps a local library of your recent results, with their settings, in its private storage on your device. This library never leaves your device.

Advertising data. Free users see banner, interstitial and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data, as described in Google's privacy policy and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

Purchases. If you buy Pro, payment is handled by Google Play. We never see your card details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated by the App, your purchase receipts and basic device information (such as device model, OS version, app version, country and language), so it can confirm your subscription.

Model downloads. The App downloads its AI model files from GitHub (github.com). Like any web request, GitHub receives your IP address and basic request information. No photos or personal data are sent with these downloads.

Notifications. While a batch of photos is processing in the background, the App shows a progress notification on your device. The App does not use push notifications and stores no push token.

The App does not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location or biometric data. It does not include analytics or crash-reporting tools of our own.

3. How information is used

  • To process your photos on your device and save the results where you choose.
  • To show ads to free users (Google AdMob).
  • To sell and confirm your Pro subscription (Google Play and RevenueCat).
  • To download the AI models the tools need (GitHub).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

4. Who receives information

  • Google AdMob: ads for free users (advertising ID, device, usage and ad data).
  • Google Play: app delivery, payments and in-app reviews (purchase details).
  • RevenueCat: subscription management (anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts, device information).
  • Google Play services (ML Kit): on-device face detection. Google may collect limited diagnostic data about the ML Kit service itself, but not your photos.
  • GitHub: hosting of the AI model files (IP address and request information for the download).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights and our users' safety.

5. Data retention

  • Photos are not kept by us, because they never leave your device.
  • Your gallery album and the App's local library stay on your device until you delete them.
  • RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as needed to provide your subscription and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • Data collected by Google AdMob, Google Play and GitHub is kept under their own policies.

6. Deleting your data

There is no account to delete. You control the data on your device:

  • Library: open Settings, then Library, and tap Clear to delete every saved result in the App. You can also delete a single result from its result screen.
  • Downloaded models: open Settings and tap Delete next to the downloaded models.
  • Saved photos: delete them from the "Super Resolution" album in your gallery app.
  • Everything at once: uninstall the App. This removes its library, settings and models from your device.
  • Advertising ID: reset or delete it in your Android settings (Privacy, then Ads).

To ask us to delete the purchase records linked to your anonymous app user ID, email support@neuralfulai.com with the subject "Delete my Super Resolution data". Include your Google Play order number so we can find the records. We will delete them within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep them, and confirm by email. Deleting data does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions.

7. Children

Super Resolution is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Photo processing happens on your device, so your photos are never exposed in transit. Model downloads and purchase checks use encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the UK or the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To use these rights, contact support@neuralfulai.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
