Blur before you share
A practical guide to protecting faces, licence plates and documents in the photos and videos you post online.

Every day we share photos that contain far more than we intended: strangers in the background, a car's licence plate, the address on a parcel, a passport on the desk.
None of this is a reason to stop sharing. It is a reason to take ten seconds before you do.
What to look for
Before posting a photo or video publicly, scan it for three things:
- Faces — especially children and people who didn't choose to be in your picture.
- Licence plates — they can identify a car, and often where someone lives or works.
- Documents and IDs — boarding passes, letters, screens and cards are easier to read than you think.

Let the app do the searching
Finding every face in a crowded street shot by hand is tedious, which is exactly why people skip it. mosaic+ detects faces, licence plates and documents automatically and blurs them in one go.

It works on photos and on video, and you can process whole albums in a batch on your device — useful after a trip, an event or a day of filming.
A simple habit
Make blurring part of your sharing routine, the same way you crop or straighten a photo. The people in the background of your pictures will never know you did it — and that is the point.
mosaic+ is available on the App Store and Google Play. See mosaic+.
